Rod Williams
Rod joined the Board of Good Water Energy in June 2020, bringing with him more than 30 years of experience in the energy industry across Asia. His career included nearly two decades with Rolls-Royce, where he held senior roles in Japan, China, India, Indonesia, and Singapore.
He went on to play a leading role in geothermal power development in Indonesia through a major international joint venture and later advanced business development for a global geothermal drilling company. In 2017, Rod became CEO of a European geothermal company established by Warren Strange, where he led geothermal project development across Scandinavia, Northern Europe, East Africa, and India. Following the company’s acquisition, he returned to Indonesia in 2019 to continue his work in renewable energy project development.
Rod unexpectedly passed away in October 2025. He will be remembered for his leadership, deep industry knowledge, and lifelong commitment to advancing sustainable energy. His professionalism, integrity, and warm spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and worked with him.
